Back to the past and a glance to the future - Localization History from my perspective
Last Friday it was 25 years since I had my first job in the localization world.
It sounds cliché, but it doesn't stop being true, time doesn't pass, it flies!
In these days when I am constantly remembering everything that has happened in the localization industry, I thought that perhaps this week's post could be somewhat different, that is why I have created this infographic that represents from my perspective what has happened in the localization industry in recent years, and I also dare to take out my crystal balls and try to predict what may happen in the years to come.
This infographic is dedicated to all localization professionals that work in the globalization industry making localization a magical world, in which we can find the intersection of language, technology, and cultural intelligence.
See you!

Have a wonderful week!

Localization teams collect tons of data, edit distance, LQA errors, fuzzy matches, deadlines met, but too often, that data doesn’t speak the language of business. This post explains how to change that. By linking each localization metric to one of the classic project management levers, quality, time, or cost, and showing its real-world impact, we can turn linguistic KPIs into insights that leaders understand, value, and act on.
